Geogrid
Providing High Quality Standard
Geogrid is a geosynthetic material consisting of connected parallel sets of intersecting ribs with apertures of sufficient size to allow strike-through of surrounding soil, stome, or other geotechnical material.
The primary function of geogrids is for reinforcement of such structures as embankments, slopes, retaining walls, improved bearing capacity, and other permanent geotechnical and transportation engineering systes. In those applications where the directions of major stresses are known, as in walls and slopes, unidirectional, or uniaxial, geogrids are used. In those where the applied stressed come from random directions, as in pavements and foundations, bidirectional, or biaxial, geogrids are used.
